Step into the intrigue of Christmas Eve, 1899, where the air is thick with anticipation and the clock ticks towards midnight.

Gather ’round as the Evergreen family convenes for their annual Christmas feast, but little do they know, a sinister surprise lurks amidst the cheer. From the depths of the Far East emerges a fortune telling trinket casting an eerie spell over the festivities.

As crackers snap and laughter fills the air, one unsuspecting guest receives ‘The Red Herring,’ plunging them into a web of deception and danger. What secrets lie within this ominous token? Who holds the key to unlocking its cryptic message? And why does this enigmatic present wield such ominous power?

Including a delicious three course meal, our murder mystery show and music from our DJ until 11:00pm. Or why not stay the night with one of our bedroom packages? Including two Dinner & Show tickets plus overnight accommodation in your chosen room type and breakfast the following morning for two.

  • After full payment has been received, no cancellation refunds or payment transfers against other services at the hotel are available.
  • The hotel reserves the right to cancel any event up to 4 weeks before should bookings fail to reach the minimum number. In this case every effort will be made to offer an alternative date. If this is not possible a full refund will be given.
  • All parties must pre-order their menu choices in advance. If you have a specific dietary requirement or for more information on food allergens please speak to us.
  • Smart dress is required on all occasions.
  • Under 18’s are not permitted at evening events.
  • Seating arrangements cannot be notified until one week prior to the event.
  • Drinks bought from outside the hotel are not allowed to be consumed on the hotel premises.
  • We reserve the right to make alterations to notified plans.
  • No changes to bookings will be accepted one week prior to the event.
  • Only tables of 8 guests or more will be seated at their own tables. Smaller tables will be mixed.
  • The hotel reserves the right to refuse admission.
