Accessibility

At Hartsfield Manor, we are committed to providing a welcoming and accessible environment for all our guests. We understand the importance of comfort, convenience, and independence, especially for guests with disabilities or those who require special assistance. To ensure that everyone enjoys a pleasant and stress-free experience, we have implemented a range of accessibility features and services throughout our hotel.

Entrance and Public Areas

Step-Free Access: The main entrance to Hartsfield Manor has step-free access, allowing guests with wheelchairs or mobility aids to enter the hotel with ease.
Accessible Routes: Clear, wide, and accessible pathways are available throughout the hotel, including from the entrance to the reception, lobby, dining areas, and public restrooms.
Seating Areas: Designated seating areas are available throughout the hotel for guests who may need to rest or wait comfortably.

Public Toilet and Baby Change: We have two sets of toilets, one in the main building and one in the conference wing. Our Disabled bathroom is in the conference wing, accessible from a lift from the main house. This bathroom includes a baby changing facility.

Guest Rooms

Accessible Rooms: We offer one specially designed accessible room that feature wider doorways, lower fixtures, and additional space to manoeuvre.
Roll-In Showers: The bathroom in accessible room is equipped with roll-in showers, shower seats, grab rails, and accessible toilets.
Visual and Audible Alerts: The room has visual and audible alert systems for doorbells and fire alarms to accommodate guests with hearing impairments.
Adjustable Features: Light switches and other room controls are positioned at a lower height for ease of use.

Parking

Accessible Parking: Designated accessible parking spaces are located near the entrance of the hotel, with clear signage and step-free access to the main entrance.
Electric Vehicle Charging: We currently do not have any charging points on site but our closest point is less than one mile away. You will find this at the Shell garage on Reigate Road, RH3 7ET. To find more charge points visit the Zapmap website here >>

Dining and Catering

Accessible Dining Areas: Our restaurant and bar areas are wheelchair accessible with seating arrangements that cater to guests with mobility devices.
Dietary Requirements: Please inform our team of any dietary requirements or allergies, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

Assistance Animals

Service Animals Welcome: We welcome service animals throughout the hotel and provide designated areas for their comfort.

Guest Assistance

24/7 Front Desk Support: Our team is available 24/7 to provide assistance and ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible.
Trained Staff: Our staff members are trained in disability awareness and are ready to assist guests with specific needs.
Wheelchair Availability: Wheelchairs are available upon request. Please contact the front desk for more information.

Emergency Procedures

Accessible Emergency Exits: Clearly marked accessible emergency exits are available on every floor, and our team is trained to assist all guests during an evacuation.
Personal Emergency Plans: Guests with disabilities are encouraged to inform the front desk of any special needs or assistance required in case of an emergency, and we will create a personalized emergency plan for you.

Gardens

Our gardens are accessible from the Croquet lawn which is located on the corridor to the right of reception. A member of our team will be happy to help with directions.
